Mova LiDAX Ultra AWD: Fan always running

Hi there,

I charged my Mova over night and is at 100% since a few hours. The LED doesn't blink anymore but nevertheless the fan is always running. Is this normal hehavior...? Thank you

I think it is a bug. My one the same.

The standby is not working

Can't provide video ATM, I moved my mower inside because it's freezing.

Just imagine the mower in the station, no light on the mower but low-pitched fan noise l. That's it ;)

This sound is not coming from a fan, as there is no fan inside the product. What you are hearing is the wheel motor. During charging, the wheel motor operates to apply an electronic brake, which locks the wheels and prevents the machine from rolling backward or leaving the charging dock. This behavior is normal, so please rest assured.

At the same time, we are aware that this sound may affect the user experience. The issue has already been reported to our internal software team, who are currently evaluating and working on possible optimizations to reduce the noise.

That is very nice to hear, thank you. Wow, I didn't know that a break can generate permanent noise. ;)

Hopefully, a feature will be added to disable this permanent brake. When the robot is in its station, which is supposed to be placed on a level surface, rolling backwards is highly unlikely. So the user should be able to decide whether they want this permanent motor brake, along with the annoying sound and increased power consumption.
