V50 Ultra does not find the base station and won't leave it

Yesterday I bought a new v50 ultra complete.

I followed the instructions, placed the robot in the docking station and started a quick mapping.

The robot stays in the docking station, states

- "start mapping [...]"
- "mop pads removed"

The sensor moves up and the robot stays in place.

- "mop pads off. Please install them before resuming"


If I remove the robot from the station and start a quick scan it scans my whole apartment, but doesn't find the base station.



I already tried a factory reset of the robot, but the problem is still the same


Is there anything I can do?
