Hello,
The LiDAX Ultra 1000 AWD robotic mower typically leaves a mowing distance of about 3 cm along lawn edges.
If you are experiencing larger uncut areas, please check the following points:
Grass height in the uncut area
If the grass is taller than the currently set obstacle‑avoidance height, the robot may interpret tall grass as an obstacle and avoid it.
Very dense or tall grass
The robot has difficulty cutting grass that is higher than 12 cm or very dense. In such cases, we recommend first trimming the area with a conventional lawn mower.
Adjust obstacle‑avoidance height in the app
You can increase the obstacle‑avoidance height setting in the app to reduce how frequently the mower avoids objects unnecessarily.
Set obstacles as no‑go zones
By creating a no‑go zone around obstacles, the robot will still mow along the edge of the no‑go zone, which can help reduce uncut grass near borders.
Disable obstacle avoidance for specific areas or edges
In the app, you can choose to disable obstacle avoidance for certain areas or edges, or define zones without obstacle checks on the map. In these areas, the robot will not actively check for obstacles, helping to prevent missed mowing.
Manual touch‑up mowing
Any remaining uncut sections can be handled using Manual Mode for targeted touch‑up mowing. |
