[MOVA 1000] Spare energy when stopped

Last edited by ML152518 on 2025-8-8 16:48

Today, when the robot mower mova 1000 is parked and not charging, the battery power level is decreasing very quickly, in some hours.

Why not charging during the day ?
During the day, when temperature is high (>35°C), even if the robot is parked not under direct sunlight, the charging process implies numerous temperature alerts, so the solution is to disable the charging during the day.

If not charging during the day, the discharge is very fast. If charging during the day is enabled, several charges are continuously made.
it implies a product life expectancy smaller as expected and a power consumption higher.
This issue has been reported several months ago, without any delivered fix.

hi there,
i asked exactly the same.
it should behave like an EV when plugged using power from grid when on stand-by waiting on the base.
it would save from several micro charges and keep the battery in good health in term of charging cycles.
Maybe keeping the battery in good state is not the goal.. selling spare parts is part of the business
