There are two ways to map: Quick Mapping/Start Cleaning.
For the first-time map creation: Place the robot on the dock. Once fully charged, click "Start Quick Mapping" or press the "Start Cleaning" button on the app, or press the clean button to let the robot start from the dock.
When the robot returns to the dock, the map creation process will be complete, and the map will be automatically saved. Quick Mapping generates a map in a short time, during which the robot will not perform any cleaning tasks.
Tips:
When creating the map for the first time, open doors and ensure the floor is clear. Do not move the charging dock or interrupt the robot during the mapping process to avoid incomplete mapping.
The dock should be placed against a wall. It is recommended to place the dock in a relatively open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1.5 meters in front and 0.5 meters on both sides of the dock.
Avoid signal interference, such as routers, TVs, etc.
There should be no reflective surfaces, like mirrors or windows, in front. |
