[V50 Ultra] Rattling sound in V50 Ultra

Last edited by NM120208 on 2025-8-20 08:15

My v50 has started making a rattling sound when moving between rooms. It doesn’t make the sound when it’s mopping or vacuuming but when it is transitioning from one task to another or moving between rooms, it makes a loud rattling noise.

It’s not just me who is facing this issue. There are a lot of other users online that have been facing the same issue with their V50 ultra robot.

This is very this is very disappointing for a device that is so expensive.

See this Reddit thread where
other customers have complained about this issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/RobotVacuums/s/4CAzz98MGQ

I’ve tried running the robot without the double roller brush and the cover, but it still makes the noise so the issue is not with the roller or brush but it’s something with the way the wheels work that is making this rattling noise. I have also check all the wheels for any debris but they are all very clean.

Hello, for this issue, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:

Remove the side brush, main brush cover, main brush, and mop holder from the bottom of the robot, start cleaning, and then follow the steps below:

1. Install the side brush first and start the robot. If you hear any unusual noises while the robot is running, check if the side brush is deformed or tangled.

2. If the side brush is working properly after installation: The rubber strip of the main brush cover may rub against the floor. Use it a few times to check.

3. If you hear any unusual noises after installing the main brush, remove the main brush and check if the ends are tangled. When installing the cover, ensure all four sides are properly installed.

I have tried everything you mentioned but it’s still making the rattling noise. As you can see in the attached video (check the second video), I have remove side brush, bottom brush, cover and mop pads but the robot is still making the noise when it moves. It’s a defect in the bot.

This is such an expensive robot and it has been only one month since I purchased it on Amazon and I am experiencing this.
