Furniture optimisation?

I love the V50 and al it's features. Also the recognition of objects it's very good.

It recognizes the coffee tables ( see picture) also correctly as an obstacle where it may be getting stuck on.

The only thing is that I bought te V50 to also get into those spaces using its robotic legs.

I got it working with the ignoring option and than placing the threshold/ramp option to deploy the robotic legs. But it would be nice if there is an second option instead of ignoring like "consider as threshold" or something else. The robot then still would identify it and with the option may pass over it.

This would only apply for the bigger table and not for the smaller table but from what I see even with ignoring the robot knows when the opening is to small for it so I think that's already covered.

The default recognition will still be avoid until the user specifies otherwise.

The other thing is, while I got it working the robot is still going full force over the ramp before attempting to deploy the robotic legs.

I don't know if this is normal behavior but would be better to use the camera to determine if the height and shape is to high to attempt full force move or deploy the robot legs.

Just an idea to make the robot more intelligent 🤓.
