[P10 Pro Ultra] HELP: House Map Rotated 30* Degrees - Cannot Use Certain Features

HELP:  House Map Rotated 30* Degrees - Cannot Use Certain Features

Re-posting but this time with a 2D image.

The map the P10 Pro Ultra created is rotated approximately 30* degrees clockwise. That means I have NO walls that are horizontal or vertical. I've been able to establish no-go zones and a rug since they can be rotated incrementally. Otherwise the map is quite accurate.

But I cannot propertly establish directionality to the wood-tile floor which only rotate in 90* increments.

And I cannot establish any zones - since these only rotate in 90* increments and are thus out of phase with the house map.

I also can't add furniture for the same reason - but I don't think that's very important.

The primary bedroom is about 45* angled from the main part of the house.

The 3D view of the map is a complete mess. It is not accurate at all and I can't even recognize it as the house. But that's OK - as the 2D map is very accurate and works fine (just that it's rotated 30* is all).

See image of 2D map below. Really could use some help on getting this map fixed so I can use features like flooring direction and zones.

Thanks

I'm new to Mova also, so I'm just making an educated guess here, but it looks like you might possibly have the vacuum's home against a wall that's at that angle to the rest of your house. Essentially, the robot is set up for generally square homes, so it registers its back of the base as being  either the bottom or the side wall. So since you have it in a room where it's turned at an angle from the rest of your home, that's confusing it.

If you move the base so that the vacuum comes out at the right angle, then that will at least allow the majority of your rooms to be aligned properly.

But @Mova could definitely benefit from allowing for smaller increments for rotating floor directions, especially with as creative as floorplans can be here in the US.

I also had issues with not being able to align the furniture properly as I've got some angled at 45*, but agree that it doesn't appear to affect the operation at all.

I thought about that too - but the base is definitely up against a wall that (like the majority of the house) is 'rotated' about 30*. Thanks
