[LiDAX Ultra 800] Mova Lidax Ultra: Battery only charges up to 15% after cleaning with water

Hi everyone,

I cleaned my Mova Lidax Ultra 800 with water today, and right after that the mower suddenly shut down, even though the battery level was still around 20–30%.

When I placed it back in the base station, it powered on again. In the app, it showed that the battery had dropped to 0% and was charging. However, it only charged up to 15% and didn’t go any further, even after staying in the station for almost an hour.

As a precaution, I unplugged the charging station to prevent any potential damage in case moisture had entered the device. During that time, the battery level in the app dropped from 15% to 0% within a few seconds.

Has anyone experienced something similar or has an idea what might be causing this issue?
Which components could potentially be affected?

Also, are there any initial troubleshooting steps I could try?
For example: removing the battery for a while, cleaning or drying specific areas, etc.?

Hello,

Based on your description, this may be a problem with the battery or battery management system. How do you clean the robot?

We generally recommend wiping the robot's sensors with the provided lint-free cleaning cloth and rinsing the blades and wheels every 60 hours or less of operation.

Friendly reminder: We recommend using a hose for rinsing; never use a high-pressure water gun.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Just a quick update from my side: I followed the after-sales customer service suggestions and cleaned the Mova, the charging contacts, and the base station using a dry tissue. After placing the Mova on the base station, the battery was fully charged, and it has already completed a mowing cycle.

Everything is working well now.
