[P50 Pro Ultra] Detailed feedback {PART 1}

Hi, it's Christian from Milan, Italy.

Even though i'm Italian, i will make this post in English as i hope the Moderators and the Team at MOVA will read and maybe take considerations.

I've been lately a huge fan of such technology.
I owned almost 10 robot vacuum cleaners.. each one from a different brand.
As soon as i got the P50 i was shocked.. such power, such technology and intelligence, cramped and built inside a small but luxury robot.
So.. as you can read and see.. and read, i am a huge fan of MOVA here, even tho i never been active, but that's the way i am.
I prefer to make a single post, but make a difference.
I've been a tester for many videogames companies and agencies, but even for products, so i do know how to talk specific about something.

I wanted to make a list about the issues i have encountered, and let me down a bit, because not everyone can afford such pricy robot vacuums, and i spent those money with fatique, as i earned them with my fulltime job.
After the list i will tell few more things and then will let you all free in the wild haha.
This is a pretty much TLR, but i hope at least MOVA will read and write down.
I am a bit sad because i thought it to be almost perfect, tho it has.. few issues and things i wish to be adjusted, if not fixed.

List:
1. Robot gets confused and starts to move randomly, before turning 180 degrees and continuing it's activity;
2. Robot gets confused with mirrors, tries to create different dimensions of non-existent rooms (even tho i tried to customize the map, it keeps doing it);
3. Robot gets confused with glassy and reflective hard floor and starts roaming around for a bit to then resume it's activity;
4. Robot gets confused with longhair tangled on the ground and avoids them, leaving dirty some areas;
5. Robot doesn't clean under cabins even tho there is enough space for both extending mop and arm to go below (very high frequency set for extending them). It does only at the beginning, and then ignore the rest of the cabinet, even tho is the same height (measured as well), 0,8cm, up to 1,2 and 3cm;
6. Robot does make carpets wet as it passes too close to them and when turning hits the sides, which.. makes the avoiding feature useless;
7. Robot does bring carpets with it, even tho they are not so light, but it goes t5oo fast and unsecure when approaching, resulting in it crashing into them and not caring at all;
8. Robot closes the room doors and report it's stuck, even tho it closed the door, while it's setted up to not hit any surface and prevent, in settings;
9. Robot gets stuck in places where sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it does, even tho those places have fixed on the floor obstacles (shower and toilet) so it's impossible that they move even 1mm in any direction, and starts sliding around, trying to go out, but then asking for help;
10. In the settings of extending the mop and arm i can enable and disable the AI function to decide, but then at the same time i can both enable that, and the frequency, which doesn't much a lot of sense, since it can decide by itself. Would make more sense if that setting was like the other for auto-empty the robot, and you can either 1. choose the frequency and the amount of hours, or 2. AI, you cannot enable both options;
11. Robot can and will clean and dry both mop pads and it's base, even tho DND is active, it doesn't give a BIP if someone is sleeping and it finishes and that mode is active. Also.. you can even manually click auto-empty dustbin of it and it will start, which shouldn't, but instead should tell you *i am unable to do that as DND mode is active, to do that, disable it and try again, or wait till it ends*;
12. Robot is unable to recognize door blocking plastic accessories and brings them under it for the whole journey, instead of pausing the activity and telling you that there is something blocking it's way;
13. Robot is unable to update the map in realtime, avoiding empty areas before occupied from objects/people/dogs/cats. For example, i put myself in the middle of the room, and it correctly avoided me, but after moving myself out from that spot and looking at the robot, it stopped and avoided other 3/4 times that area, even tho i wasn't there anymore, which.. doesn't make a lot of sense if it has a built-in live camera to check + it's LIDAR, sensors and advanced system;
14. Robot has very little to no firmware updates.

That's my list, or at least.. biggest flaws i met till today.

To my defense i will say that.. before writing this, i tried several times during my experience to resetting to factory defaults both robot and base, cleaning every centimeter of it and it's base, inside as well, sensors, camera, wheels, mops, arm, dustbin, changing settings, trying to see what would be the difference, but there wasn't any.
In add.. my network is fast, reliable, stable and the robot is perfectly set up to it.
I wonder why such expensive products do receive so little to not updates, then maybe i am wrong, as i own it since 6/7 months, but in my mind, if a product, after years of launch has these issues, is a problem.. isn't a thing to be proud of.
i am the first to say innovation is crazy and exciting, and i am also curious about new product releases and announcements, but if the product i spent money for is not up to the standards i do expect from.. i'm not sure if i would keep purchasing, as.. could be the same circle, and for many companies, it is like that.
We are talking about a 3/4 digits € for a product, isn't a toy or some sort of joke to play around with. It is an expensive and luxury product that only specific people do afford to have.

I wanted to experience products like the V/Z50/60, but.. i am not 100% satisfied with the product i did bought.. so i'm holding my purchase for when (and if) i will decide if is good to go or not, if it does deserve my attention.
Like i said.. i love the P50 Pro Ultra.. it's an amazing product with amazing tech, and i will happily buy other products like that, but not until i am sure such issues are not a thing, and not until maybe some of them gets addressed even in it.

More than once it happened that i bought something and it was throwed to the public and never addressed/updated/adjusted, and i stopped falling for these things.

For the rest, i am very well available to partecipate in tests of new products and help you making them better, if you give me the chance, since you never did at the moment.

I will sign up to beta registration when there will be the next one, i tried to apply tho it says is paused. I will be sure to include my post inside that, once i have the opportunity.
