[MOVA 1000 and MOVA 600] Mova 1000 not mowing properly - destroying my lawn

Hi all,

I've just received my Mova 1000 for a week and it is not working properly.

It only mows a small part of lawn and then just starts to ride random against borders or back and forth at a border (which destroyed my lawn after x amount of back and forth...). I constantly get errors like failed to return to station & positioning failed.

I tried to reposition the base and recreated the area for 3 times already but no luck.

Made support ticket 3 days ago but no reply.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

If the robot fails to locate, you can try the following steps:

① Check the radar on top of the robot for dirt. Dirt can affect the robot's positioning. Clean it with the included dust-free cleaning cloth. Make sure to dry the radar after cleaning.

② Move the robot to an open area within the map and try again.

③ If the robot cannot locate, use the manual mowing mode in the app and return the robot to the base station before restarting.

④ If positioning still fails after returning to the base station, check if the base station has been moved out of the map range. Move it back within the map range and try again.

If the problem persists, please upload the log in the app and provide the following information.

1. Robot SN
2. Firmware version

We are currently contacting our technical staff to analyze this problem for you. We will contact you again after receiving the reply.

Hello,

We have received a reply from our technical department. Our internal technical staff's analysis shows no abnormalities in your device's location.

The anomaly may be due to you including non-mowed areas in the map during mapping.

We recommend that you set stepped areas as restricted areas or set them as map boundaries during mapping.
