Hey, hope everyone is doing good!
Wanted to share few more suggestiions before making my decision.. which MOVA robot to acquire next.. should i wait for the Z60 Ultra, should i take the Z50 Ultra, or should i wait longer for a next-level robot?
Who knows.
Let's get down to facts.
We all want robot vacuum cleaners to be AI driven, and maybe even completely autonomous.. meaning that we won't even need to tell/command them to clean/mop our homes.
But.. like ADV (Autonomous Driving Vehicles), the technology is not up there yet for this to happen, at least not until more years won't come.
As a last, i want to remind you that.. we all know how technology goes forward and how companies do pick up and use others first adopter companie's technology/features.
I hope i'm wrong, but i wouldn't be surprised if more brands starts announcing robot vacuums with arms that can pick up objects, such as the R* brand and now Dreame.. and MOVA is its sister, or brother, how you prefer.
I would prefer paying more attention and care to other technologies, but companies do often follow trends and what goes viral, which could lead to success, but also to tragic failure and flops.
Saw also the multi mop replacement base/dock of Dreame, but that looks huge, and in all honesty, i feel like it is a huge no for me since i tend to aim to slick, premium, luxury but contained size bases/docks, which.. the P50 Pro Ultra does have, compared to X50 from Dreame.
I don't want it to take a lot of space, which is still one of my biggest issues when choosing for a 2nd robot vacuum.
Now let's share my suggestions:
1. AI based cleaning schedule feature:
Robot will be able to go out randomly after being too much time parked and checking the area.
If it will find some needs cleaning, will start the process, without you to interfere or do anything.
You can set how much time needs to pass before the robot starts to randomly going out by itself and deciding which room needs attention and which not.
2. AI based unreachable cleaning advice feedback feature:
If the robot will not be able to reach a spot and sees dirt and debris inside that unreachable space, will report it and take a picture, marking it with a green indicator, and then tells you through the app to clean manually.
The next time it passes and looks at the same area, if you cleaned well manually will congratulate (via app always) and remove the indicator on the map, if you didn't, it will report it again but now the indicator will become yellow, and if a third time it finds the same, the indicator will become red.
3. Attach/detach mops in the area feature:
Instead of leaving them at the base/dock, the robot will detach them around the area, or.. more exactly, just outside it, to avoid going back all the way and lose time and battery charge (for who especially has a big house).
I consider this a mid-idea, meaning that is not so cool if you think of it in a 3D world, but makes sense anyway.
Why would someone want the robot to a. leave the mops inside its base/dock, or b. bring the mops with it and making them dirty in the process of cleaning while it could easily do c. leave the mops just outside the area to clean.
This system would need more precise technology to pick them up then, but it could be something to consider.
4. Auto-Drain dirty water and Auto-Refill clean water tanks base/dock:
This is pretty straight forward, such as the Master versions of Dreame's bases/docks.
5. Auto-Refill detergent accessory and feature:
This would allow the base/dock to autonomously refill its detergent empty tank from a reservoir set up as accessory, which acts as you pouring it inside, tho this happens automatically when it detects that there is no detergent.
And that's it, thanks for reading,
