Hi MOVA community,
I would like to start a vote to understand if other MOVA Z60 Ultra Complete users would find these two software features useful.
The first feature is the possibility to define repeat cleaning zones inside a single room.
For example, some areas of a room usually get dirtier than others:
- kitchen passages;
- areas near doors;
- corridors;
- high-traffic zones;
- the area around the dining table.
It would be very useful to mark smaller zones inside a room and tell the robot to clean those specific areas more than once, while the rest of the room is cleaned normally.
Ideally, the user could choose:
- extra vacuuming passes;
- extra mopping passes;
- both vacuuming and mopping;
- the number of repetitions for that specific zone.
The second feature is an alternating cleaning direction mode.
On tiled floors, the robot often cleans following the same general direction. This may work well along one direction of the grout lines, but less effectively along the perpendicular direction.
It would be very useful if the robot could alternate the cleaning pattern between sessions, for example:
- one session with vertical passes;
- the next session with horizontal passes;
- or a cross-cleaning mode with both directions in the same session.
This could improve cleaning performance on tiled floors, grout lines, kitchens, corridors and other high-traffic areas.
Both features seem possible as app or firmware improvements, without requiring new hardware.
Would you find these features useful on your MOVA robot?
Please vote and, if possible, share your floor type and use case in the comments.
Thanks!
