[V50 Ultra] What is the minimum size for a pre-step ramp with the Mova V50 Ultra Complete?

Hi everyone,

I own a Mova V50 Ultra Complete, which is supposed to climb obstacles up to 6 cm.
I have a 5 cm step in my home, and I found that if I place a board of about 4 cm thickness in front of it, the robot can successfully climb.

The board I tested was only 7 cm deep, and it worked.
I also saw a video where someone used a 3.8 cm thick board, and the robot managed as well.

My question is:
👉 What is the minimum depth (front-to-back size) and minimum thickness of such a board to reliably help the robot climb a 5 cm step?

I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried similar setups or experimented with different sizes.

Thanks in advance!

Hello, to help the robot cross a step that is 5 cm high, the minimum height of the board should be 1 cm. There is currently no data available regarding the minimum depth of the board.
