I installed the Mova 1000 mid-June 2025 and I must say I am delighted with it. What I like the most is the ability to configure at what angle the grass is cut: whether in 90-degree turns, or in 45-degree turns. I haven't tried configuring grass figures yet, but I will as soon as I can.
However, I want to share some of my experiences that may help future customers.
Initially, I loaded the MOVAHome App on an iPhone 7 (IOS 15.8.4) and noticed that when trying to configure the lawn edge of the zone, the App screen (the one where you control the direction of the mower) flickered continuously by turning on itself. This flickering made it impossible to control the lawn edge configuration and the mower’s movement. So, I tried loading the MOVAHome App on an iPhone 8 (IOS 16.7.11) and finally the App reacted correctly allowing me to guide the mower along the edge of the lawn and configure the area.
Another thing I would like to share is related to how to configure the edge of the lawn itself: if you want a precise cut of the edge (during the “on-edge” operation), it is not enough to guide the mower along the edge of the lawn. The result is that by using the edge cutting program, the mower runs 10-12 centimeters from the actual border of the lawn.
For a more accurate cut, when setting up the lawn edge, it is necessary to guide the mower along the far edge while trying to keep the edge of the turfgrass lawn as low as possible below the centerline of the mower. TranslateView Original Text
