[MOVA 1000 and MOVA 600] Rain detection useless after software upgrade

Hi, just updated my Mova 1000 to firmware 4.3.6_0327. After this upgrade the robot will constantly stop working due to rain detected. Today is 30 degrees C, sunny and not a drop of rain, nor is there any moist on the grass or trees. I had to turn the rain detector off to make it work properly. I think the detection algorithm needs some further tweaking 😀

Hello,

Please check if the radar surface is wet or has water droplets. If the radar detects water droplets on the surface, it may misjudge it as raining weather. It is recommended that you use the included dust-free cleaning cloth to clean the radar surface to ensure it works properly.

If this does not solve your problem, we recommend that you send an email to [ aftersales@mova-tech.com ] and provide your serial number and invoice. Our team will prioritize your issue.

Hello. I have the same issue since the update. Same here, it’s been sunny with no rain for several days. The LIDAR is clean.

Already raised this issue to the support, about false rain detection after update. But for now the biggest problem is the bumper error which blocks my Mova600, and drives only backward. While giving position errors, rain errors....
