Hello there!
We fully understand your point of view. It is really disappointing that the robot keeps spinning idly until the battery runs out when it gets stuck. It should automatically stop working once it detects being trapped. We sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience this has caused you.
You can follow the suggestions below to troubleshoot and improve the situation, so as to prevent the robot from getting stuck and idling again:
① Clear obstacles around the robot. Before mowing, remove objects that may trap the device, such as piles of leaves, stones, toys, loose power cords, water pipes and so on.
② Move the robot to an open and flat area on the map, then restart the task. If the problem occurs repeatedly, send the robot back to the charging station first and try again.
③ Check the working area for pits and depressions. It is recommended to fill them in advance to reduce the risk of the robot getting stuck.
④ If the grass height exceeds 10 cm, adjust the mowing height of the robot or trim the lawn manually in advance to avoid being trapped by tall grass.
⑤ It is better to mow when the lawn is dry, as wet grass may cause slipping and trapping. You can also enable the rain protection function and set the corresponding protection period.
⑥ If the robot frequently gets stuck at a fixed location, you can set this area as a forbidden zone in the APP, and the robot will no longer work there.
We hope the above suggestions can help reduce such issues.
