Hi, it's me again. (yeeah, this is getting annoying, in the next thread i will make a different intro, tho now i am focused, sry haha)
In this thread i want to cover mostly 2 features that i think will make the robot vacuum experience even richer than now.
1. Feedback based cleaning and moping experience feature:
This feature let's you "speak" to your robot at the end of each task, which will open up a pop-up asking how it cleaned/mopped the specific place, and you can report if "good", "mixed", or "bad/other", and then you can specify, by circling the space inside the map, where the robot did not made a good job.
After doing it, the next time you start the task, the robot will remember that feedback you gave it and will try to clean better that specific part, maybe going more closer to the wall/corner, or making double passes or even going at a reduced speed and extending more both arm and mop, making sure to do a better job than last time.
I'm not joking when i tell you that this would be such a great feature to have, because it will feel like the robot is truely alive and learning from it's mistakes, it's a road between you both.
Speaking of the next feature suggestion, this below will only be possible for future robot vacuums.
2. New Moping pad extend feature:
This feature doesn't change the basic functionality of the dual moping system already good enough and present into the latest robot vacuums from MOVA.
But.. is not perfect.
The mop cannot extend too much outside the side of the robot, which means that in some way, by it's current system, making it extended, you clean more surface on the right side, but leave untouched the center part, but the worst one is the most right side, under cabines, on the edge of the wall, which the robot itself will not approach even without collision avoidance turned off (for safety).
This new system would allow the same mop to further extend (via a new physic different connection method) more on the right side, than on the back side of the robot, so it doesn't need to make a back movement, which is not always perfect, and most of the times doesn't work properly and it does anyway jumps few centimeters of space, which remains uncleaned, same goes for the corners when mopping.
That's all for now,
