Good afternoon,
Today, i'm back with a new set of suggestions, let's get straight to them.
1. How many times happened that you opened your window after the rain hit your house and all the water dropped on the floor? Too many (to me at least haha)
Well, luckily i own a robot vacuum, right? No. The robot is not able to dry or picking up those drops and you are obligated to manually mop and dry the floor yourself.
Wouldn't be a nice addition for the world of Robot Vacuums to also vacuum up and at the same time moving left and right (rotation) the mops behind to dry up the floor? Yes.. this would require the robot to have new technologies, but that's the right place to suggest, so this is it!
For the price you pay for, wouldn't be a bad addition.
Water is an example, could be even other liquids.
2. I always thought of this: *robot vacuum clean and mop, mopping and cleaning, floors, corners, under cabines, close to stairs, under couches.. but they cannot mop carpets themselfs.
Maybe this is a bit exagerated, but like i said above.. is just a suggestion.
You wouldn't need to throw your carpet away for few weeks (because i have no time for washing it the same moment i remove it from the floor), but instead be able to wash the carpet as well with a specific mode that, thanks to the technology above, washing and vacuuming the dirt and wetness of it inside the robot itself.
It clearly would need more passes for big chunky carpets, as the tank for dirty water is limited.
3. Dual mops that change X and Y position based on the surface of the floor.
Maybe you (like me as always) have a strange type of ending wall or a descent? The robot will not be able to clean that small surface since the mops won't make contact.
4. Dual mops that raise themselfs above 10mm.
This is pretty understandable and simple, while 10mm could be enough, i own chunky carpets, and if i choose to leave on the mops for any reason, even tho the robot raise them, the carpet will anyway get wet as they are not raised enough.
Would be a nice addition doubling this level, up to 18mm or even 20/22mm.
This would mean a change in the system that makes this possible and the space that's occupied by those, as well as the other space that now is taken.
5. Extra arm on the upper right side of the robot that extends and rotate vertically or horizontally, for cleaning baseboards of the wall (i don't know if i named them correctly, but basically they are there to better rapresent a completed, finished, more modern looking house).
This would require modifications to the base (maybe).
6. Why can't we rename our robot? Would be so fun to customize the way you want it to be called, and it to call you, even tho it doesn't call you.
7. I don't know why but i always thought i would insta-buy a red robot vacuum, both base and the device itself.
The most used colors for brands are black (100% present), white (100% present), grey (85% present), light blue (35% present) and that's it. Maybe few others. Wouldn't be fun to be able and customize to your likings even that once you are at checkout? It won't be free surely, but who said i canno't have a black base with a white robot, or vice versa, or red robot and blue base.
This would also make unique the classic style robots, which will always be present, then if someone wants to pay a little bit extra and have different colored devices, can go ahead and get them.
Surely not all robots are perfect for this kind of option, maybe the more premium ones or luxury is normal that they can and/or will have less choice, but with more exclusive colors, such as silver, bronze, maybe even gold.
8. Robot vacuum stickers, to attach to your device/s.
Tiny, small, medium, large, to the point where you can apply a sort of wrap on it.
Just.. why not haha.
I saw them twice in a brand, and that was it.
Nobody seems to take advange of this stuff, because honestly.. is funny, could lead to even more funny moments and shorts on social media, if not other reasons.
9. As cool as a children protection might be, there needs to be a way around it without using your phone. Maybe a button places on the inside/behind the base station, or inside/below the robot itself.
10. Recording footage of the surveillance that gets created and stored on cloud and is viewable after you come back home.
For now is everything, i hope this could be still valuable.
